VH2H – Head to Head Betting

VICBET H2H Betting is available every race in two groups of three. It is the three Favourites (1st, 2nd and 3rd) combined in one H2H outcome and the second H2H is the 4th, 5th and 6th Favourites combined, excluding the Fav if it is Odds-on (under $2). This is a moving dynamic market so as the odds change for the actual race the odds will change for the H2H outcome. Another brilliant week of Races coming up with the Group 3 Geelong Cup on Wednesday followed by the Group 1 Manikato Stakes on Friday Evening at Moonee Valley. There is also six other Group races at Moonee Valley on Saturday apart from the Group 1 Cox Plate. This Saturday there is the St Arnaud Cup and on Sunday is the Sale Cup, Northam Cup and the Coonabarabran Cup.

Who was W.S. Cox? William Samuel Cox founded Moonee Valley Racing Club in 1883 on his land. The second best horse race in Australia the WS Cox Plate (after the Melbourne Cup and slightly ahead of the Caulfield Cup) was named in his honour and was first run 1922. Since the first running of the WFA Classic Favourites have won 41% of the time and if the Fav is under $2 (Even Money) like Winx was last year then they have won 70% of the time. The “Best of all Time” Phar Lap started at $1.14 (7/1 on) when he won in 1930 and then when he won again in 1931 he started the shortest ever at $1.07 (14/1 on).…….…Click on the link below to watch one of the best Cox Plates of all time, the 1986 version won by Bonecrusher ($1.90) over Our Waverley Star ($3.50) (with a twist X4).
