VH2H – Head to Head Betting

VICBET H2H Betting is available every race in two groups of three. It is the three Favourites (1st, 2nd and 3rd) combined in one H2H outcome and the second H2H is the 4th, 5th and 6th Favourites combined, excluding the Fav if it is Odds-on (under $2). This is a moving dynamic market so as the odds change for the actual race the odds will change for the H2H outcome. Also, you can pick your own H2H outcome, then simply text or WhatsApp Tim Cleary (0433-339347) and he will price up for you, this can be in a group of two or three, max wager is $100 when he does this……This is a novelty bet type so it is for the small players……

On Saturday the highlight is the time honoured Stradbroke Handicap meeting conducted at Eagle Farm over 1,400m. The support card includes the Group 1 JJ Atkins Plate over the same distance as the Stradbroke and the Group 3 Rough Habit Plate over 2,200 metres. On Sunday we have the Swan Hill Cup, all the interstate venues plus all the overseas twilight action including Group 1 racing from Japan. On Monday there is all the Public Holiday action from all over Australia including Warwick Farm, Mornington, Ballina, Kilcoy and Murray Bridge……

The Group One Stradbroke Handicap was first run in 1890 and is the highlight of the Brisbane Winter Carnival. The Race is named after Lord Stradbroke who was a relative of Henry John Rous (1795-1877). Rous was appointed the Public Handicapper in 1855 in England and in this role he devised and introduced the “Weight-For-Age” scale for all Thoroughbred racing that is still in use today. So every time you see WFA you will know who invented it…..
