The third day of the Caulfield Carnival has concluded with punters struggling a little early but coming home with a wet sail. With the $4.20 favourite saluting easily in the Caulfield Cup – Jameka and the heavily backed Voodoo Lad in the last at $2.50, the bookies were once again left reeling late!

The weekend kicks off with the with Chautauqua looking to return to his Group 1 winning Best in the $1 Million Group 1 Manikato Stakes on Friday Night
The support card on Saturday also features the Group 2 LUCRF Super Vase, one of the major VRC Derby lead ups with Tarzino running 3rd to Jameka last year and going on to salute in the Group 1 VRC Derby at Flemington.
We also have the Group 2 Telstra Phonewords Stakes, Group 2 P.W. Glass Fillies Classic, Group 2 Schweppes Crystal Mile, Group 2 Antler Luggage Moonee Valley Gold Cup and the Group 2 Merlin Garage Door Openers Stakes…
